According to COSI research, as many as 32% of 1st grade children in Raplamaa are overweight, and this problem will worsen over the next few years.

The expanding use of smart devices has made children’s lifestyles more sedentary and passive. In the name of a better future, the Ministry of Culture, the Estonian Olympic Committee, the Estonian Sports Association Jõud, the Estonian School Sports Association, the Institute of Sports Sciences and Physiotherapy of the University of Tartu, the Association of Rapla Municipalities, the Rapla County Sports Association, the Rapla Gymnasium and Kehtna, Kohila, Märjamaa and Rapla parishes are entering into cooperation.
